Both apartments feature: walk to everything (hundreds of great restaurants and bars, just meters away from our quiet street), cotto floors, eat-out terraces, original charming Wood Rafter ceilings.

Maxi Nobile loft, in a building originally erected in the 1400s, lies in the most characteristic part of Rome. Trastevere was originally a small village within the historic center of Rome. Centuries ago, a Roman Nobleman commissioned the building with majestically high wooden rafter ceilings and steps from this apartment leading down to the stables below (now the wine cellar).
Here you are surrounded by small tradesmen boutiques, restaurants, cafes, etc. Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere is a few dozen steps from the door and Piazza Navona is about 7 minutes walk across a medieval Tiber foot bridge. The area is extremely safe and one gets around mostly on foot. There is a paid garage for cars just around the corner.

The apartment has three bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom and shower. Two are full size bedrooms with full size bathrooms, the third is a children’s room with a single bed and bathroom with shower perfect for a single guest or 2 children.
There are 25 foot high original wood beamed ceilings, beautiful cotto floors, two original roman arches, working fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, wine cellar (down the original steps to the old stables). It has a vast roomy feel and is extremely quiet despite the hive of activity in the neighbourhood.
There is a trusted cleaner/handyman who has kept this apartment to perfection for the last 10 years and is available in case there are maintenance issues.

Living-dining room

Triple living-dining room area with 25 foot beamed ceilings, large screen plasma for hook up to your PC/iPod, high speed “Fastweb” wi-fi, high end stereo Bose system with Opera timber speakers, dining table seating 8, comfy sofa seating for 8, fitness home gym area with technogym professional running machine and stationary bike, working fire-place, air conditioning and independent heating, antique cotto floors, all double glazed windows, alarm system, eat-out garden terrace with a variety of fruit plants completing the atmosphere.
There is a large comfortable sofa bed in the living room area. Additionally for singles or children we provide nice unfolding beds to be positioned near the adult beds or in the single room. Or make your own sleeping zone of the huge living room… In this way, parties of up to 9 people have often been hosted. The Trastevere Area
The Lively Area of Rome: Maxi Nobile Loft is tucked away in a quiet side street but only 30 seconds from the front door is Vicolo Del Moro where dozens of ancient restaurants and more modern coffee shops are located. You wander the cobble-stoned streets and see what you bump into – this is not a typical entertainment area of a big city where things are all in a row. In Trastevere you find cute places tucked away in unexpected places. You can still see the tradesmen working in their workshops which have been in the family for generations. In fact many of the streets bear the name of the type of trade that was practiced there in ancient times. ‘Vicolo dei Cappellari’ for example was the hat makers street… You get to everything by foot within minutes and at the end of a long day – once you are laden with shopping bags, the taxi back is cheap because we are so central.
Get our Rome & Maxi Nobile Loft Tips and Tricks File: When you book you are sent a link to our Rome & Casa Nobile Loft Tips and Tricks File. This has proved a very popular source of what to do and where to go for our guests. It is expanded and based on the tips of recent guests so it stays current and ever more helpful. It will tell you how to get here, taxi tips, restaurants and bar choices by locals and by our guests and lots of things related to visiting Rome. The Staff: There are five people to help with the Maxi Nobile Loft apartment. Teddy and Josine are in charge of cleaning and Francesca and Patrizia are hosts – they’ll welcome you to the apartment and make sure all is ok. There is also an emergency repairman standing by who knows all the local tradesmen and whom to call for what. You’ll get the full list of people that hopefully you’ll never need to use but it is nice to know that you are fully catered for in case of any special need or issue.
