Lovely bright, quiet and cosy, airy apartment in a building of the nineteenth century, 70 sqm, 1st floor with lift (2 steps before the lift). A step away from the Colosseum and the Trevi Fountain, just few minutes walk to Campo dei Fiori, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon. This historic building is located in Via del Boschetto, in the oldest district of Rome. The street takes its name from a small grove of elms planted in the middle of the fifteenth century by Cardinal Francesco Gonzaga “in commendam” in the nearby church of St. Agatha of the Goths. The prelate, who was a passionate hunter, had spread some nets between the branches of these trees: the birds, once captured, used to be served as a delicious meal to him and his wealthy guests.
The house has its original wooden beamed ceiling and terracotta floor. Furnished in Tuscan style and offers all the amenities. The bedroom in modern style, has a beautiful king size bed.
