We offer fantastic weekly holiday packages in one of the most beautiful protected nature parks of the South of Italy: Morigerati in the Cilento.
The concept of the ALBERGO DIFFUSO holiday is innovative in that, our guests are truly in contact with the local flavours annd culture of this area, thus living a truly unique experience.
We offer you the opportunity of booking any of the many forms of accomodation offered within the villages of Morigerati and Sicilì, from the bed and breakfast to to the villa, to the farm house.
Our packages include accomodation, breakfast, and dinner in one of the five local restaurants, one weekly excursion to the unforgettable Greek temples of Paestum and another to the magnificent Pertosa Grottoes or others. Moreover, in high season we provide a shuttle bus to the beautiful coast line only 12 mins away.
We offer you full assistance and for larger groups we even provide a pick-up and drop off facility from Naples Airport and Sapri Railway Station.
Should guests prefer to stay in self-catering accomodation, we provide beautiful holiday homes at a daily or weekly price and our guests may take advantage of our beach shuttle bus and our weekly excursions.

Morigerati di Sicilì Area Morigerati di Sicilì is a beautiful small characteristic village, just 10 mins from the Gulf of Sapri and the surrounding area. From Morigerati why not go sailing, or rent out a boat, go walking in the WWF oasis or canoeing down the River Bussento, or even go fishing.
There are a variety of typical restaurants where you can sample all kinds of local specialities ranging from fish to pizza and wonderful local wine.
Morigerati is situated in an idyllic point where the vibrations of the hill air and the sea breeze cross each other creating a unique regenerating atmosphere.
Most beaches are free of charge and directly accessible at many points by car.

From Sapri and Scario there are public fishing boats which provide a good shuttle service at a very low price, to some of the most beautiful and secluded beaches of the area as well as to the magnificent natural bay of the “Infreschi” or the suggestive “Canale di Mezzanotte”.
Enjoy the lovely weekly local markets and the religious feasts organized in the many characteristic local villages. Spend time joining in the summer evening “sagras” where you can taste the local specialities and drink local wine and in Sapri in August why not experience the unforgettable historic replica of the landing of Carlo Pisacane with all it’s historical features and costumes.
Therefore not just nature, but history and culture as well!

The Campania Region On the coast, tourist places like Palinuro, Marina di Camerota, Scario, Policastro and Maratea are renowned for the crystal clear blue sea water. Marina di Camerota and Palinuro is where Aeneas landed in classical times.
There are a number of beaches, north and south along the coast. Most beaches are free of charge and directly accessible at many points by car. The climate is ideal: mild during the winter and of course, hot in summer.
From Morigerati, it is well worth visiting Pertosa, famous for its underground grottoes, the beautiful Certosa (Abbey) of Padula, and of course, the ruins the Greek Colony of Elea (Velia) and Paestum with its majestic Greek temples. Lastly but not least, why not spend a day in Matera. Further inland the beautiful medieval town of Teggiano is certainly not to be missed. Finally, if you wish to relax by a lake , why not drive up to the beautiful Lake Laudemio where you can have a lovely typical lunch.
The world famous Pompeii is certainly another day trip not to be missed and why not spend again another day in Naples and visit the Royal Place and the wonderful Capodichino Museum.
Nearer, how about visiting San Giovanni a Piro with its monastery, Morigerati and its spectacular waterfalls and Policastro with its wonderful cathedral.

Further south, not to be missed, the picturesque village of Maratea, with its South American mystical style Statue of Christ perched on the mountain and Maratea’s characteristic harbour where yachts of all kinds can be admired. When renting during high season one of the beautiful houses in the area, guests can take advantage of the weekly excursion organized by the “Albergo Diffuso” Association, free of charge.

How to get there
The nearest airport is Naples airport which is about two hours from Morigerati. Easyjet and British Airways both fly to Naples. There is the possibility of organizing pick ups and drop offs from Naples Airport or Sapri Railway Station.
Rome is about four hours away and most airlines fly there.
Ryanair flies to Lamezia Terme (Calabria) or to Bari both about one hour and a half from the Gulf of Policastro.
There are national flights to Pontecagnano Airport.
